STEM club takes place in the STEM classroom every Monday from 3.15 to 4.15.
Children in grades 3 and 4 have been invited to attend the club in term 1 and other grades will have an opportunity to be involved later in the school year.
Participating in STEM club gives children a great opportunity to increase their scientific knowledge of the world around them and learn to work cooperatively in groups to solve engineering and design challenges. So far this term we have designed and made bridges out of paper, Rube Goldberg obstacle courses and made self-sustaining terrariums for display around the school.
STEM club will be running for children in grades 5/6 in term 2 and in term 3 for children in grades 1 and 2.
